A multi-tasking maven, Emily Gaikowski thrives on the creative and logistical challenges of executing events that shatter expectations. Dubbed a “Wedding Whisperer,” this people lover relies on her intuitive ability to make decisions and tackle any surprises that may pop up while keeping her clients at ease.
Preferring to browse the aisles at the local party store over the toy store, Emily was drawn to event planning from a young age. After years as the go-to organizer for all gatherings within her inner circle, Emily was asked to be the officiant and coordinator for several friends’ weddings. Quickly realizing weddings were her calling, she left her decade-long Public Health career and moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles to start her own event-planning business.
Influenced by her infatuation with paperback romance covers and all things kitsch, Emily founded Heartthrob Events and has been creating unforgettable celebrations for celebrity clientele since 2016.
A believer in beauty over everything,
Emily finds sparks of creativity all around.
Moved by color, fashion, and the worlds of television and film, her main source of soul-fulfilling inspiration comes from her deep love of travel and connecting with people.
When she isn't bringing the event magic, she can be found snuggled up with her rescue pets watching Clueless, A24 films, and escaping into the hazy microcosm of Euphoria. For a change of scenery, this nature lover enjoys hikes in nearby state parks and attending overpriced boutique fitness classes that scream “L.A.”

THE EVOLUTION
OF EMILY GAIKOWSKI
ACT I: The Sleep Over
It all started with a first-grade sleepover.
A young Emily is furiously flipping through her well-worn copy of Shel Silverstein's poetry collection, searching for the perfect prose for her sleepover invite. She's found it! This party will surely be the best there has ever been. And to that small group of six-year-old girls, it truly was.
Having never felt this kind of jubilation and pride, Emily knew she must continue nurturing her inherent passion.
ACT II: The Snafu
A slightly older and wiser Emily-- now in the fifth grade-- has decided to up the ante, planning a mother-daughter Christmas party complete with a piano player and a tea service.
The timeline will be tight—she is up for the challenge.
Everything must be perfect. After all, Emily had a reputation to uphold.
Despite her tireless planning, the party was nearly derailed by an unforeseen incident she simply couldn’t anticipate. Emily suffered what can only be described as a footwear malfunction—her beloved Mary Janes had betrayed her, leaving her shoeless and humiliated. Her father, a considerate man by nature, rescued Emily from what would surely be her most regrettable memory. Quickly patronizing the local department store for girl’s shoes, her father—while helpful, was less than equipped to choose his young daughter’s footwear—chose a pair of $600 Ferragamos. Understandably, his wife was less than amused by this purchase. Perhaps this was what sparked Emily's love of the finer things in life.
With the crisis now averted, Emily went on to coordinate yet another successful party on her own. What else could this preternatural gift be but her destiny?
EPILOGUE
To this very day, Emily Gaikowski is calmly directing high-end events while wearing stylish yet sensible footwear.
